¡ä Introduction the principles and paradigm of Distributed Systems.

¡ä Design and implementation of some topics that are challengeable issues in Distributed Systems.

 The course will cover virious subjects that include communication, process, naming, synchronization, consistency and replication, fault tolerance and security.

6. Miscellaneous

¡ä Major part of class will be performed by presentation of the attending students. Therefore the students must prepare the presentation materials in advance. The student's presentation will start at 4th week of class.

¡ä The students must implement at least one term project which can be done by her/himself, or by a team (2-3 students). The students must submit a title of project to an instructor by the 3rd week of September. The subject must be one that will be covered by class, or that is closely related to Distributed Systems, Ubiquitous Computing, and Distributed real-time systems.
