Dr Byeong Ho Kang, computer scientist, is a Professor in School of Engineering and ICT, University of Tasmania, Australia. He leads the Smart Services and Systems research group of postdoctoral scientists which has carried out fundamental and applied research in research areas, expert systems, Web Services, SNS analysis and smart industry areas. He has served as a chair and steering committee member in many international organizations and during conferences.

Prof. Chris is the Director of the Computer Science Research Institute and holds the position of Professor of Biomedical Engineering. He is based within the School of Computing and Mathematics at Ulster University. He received a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Systems and DPhil in Biomedical Engineering both from Ulster University. Chris joined the University as a Research Fellow in 1999 and was appointed as Lecture in Computer Science in 2000. Following this he held positions of Senior Lecture and Reader within the Faculty of Computing and Engineering before his appointment as Professor of Biomedical Engineering in 2008. In 2016 he was awarded the Senior Distinguished Research Fellowship from Ulster University,

Prof. Banos is an Assistant Professor of Computational Behaviour Modelling at the University of Granada, Spain. He is also a Senior Research Scientist affiliated with the Centre for Information and Communication Technologies of the University of Granada (CITIC-UGR). He is a former Assistant Professor (currently external associate) of the University of Twente, Netherlands. He is also a former Senior Research Scientist affiliated with the Centre for Telemedicine Cluster of the Biomedical Signal and Systems Group (BSS), the Centre for Telematics and Information Technology (CTIT), the Research Centre for Biomedical Technology and Technical Medicine (MIRA), and the novel Centre for Monitoring and Coaching (CMC).

Asad Masood Khattak is an assistant professor at the College for Technological Innovation, Zayed University in Abu Dhabi that he joined in August 2014. He received his M.S. in Information Technology from National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan in 2008. He got his Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from Kyung Hee University, South Korea in 2012. He worked as Post-Doctoral Fellow at Department of Computer Engineering, Kyung Hee University, South Korea for seven months and then he started working in the same college as Assistant Professor. He is currently leading two research projects and collaboration in three research projects in the same research fields. He has authored/coauthored more than 50 journal and conference articles in highly reputed venues.

Dr Zeeshan Pervez is an Associate Professor (Reader) at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS). He is a Senior Member of IEEE, ACM Distinguished Speaker, Member ISO and BSI working groups for FM sector, Fellow of Higher Education Academy (UK), and Full Member of EPSRC Peer Review College (UK). He has a strong track record of securing research, industry, and capacity building funding from the Innovate UK, Scottish Funding Council, Innovation Centres, European Commission, Erasmus+, Microsoft Research, and international research institutes. His research interests are Internet-of-Things, Cybersecurity, Applied AI/ML, Blockchain Technologies, Data Security & Privacy, and Cloud Computing. The application areas of his research are but not limited to Industry 4.0, Smart Cities, Social Housing, Predictive Maintenance, Facilities Management, Healthcare, Data Science, and ICT4D. He has successfully supervised several postdoctoral fellows, postgraduate research/taught and undergraduate students. He has published over 80 SCI/E indexed journals and IEEE/ACM conferences. Donghai Guan received the BS degree from Harbin Engineering University, China in 2002 and the MS degree from Kumoh Institute of Technology, Korea in 2004. He received his the Ph.D degree under the supervision of Prof. Sungyoung Lee from Kyung Hee University, Korea in 2009. He joined the faculty of Dept. of Computer Engineering at Kyung Hee University in 2010 as a research and teaching faculty. Previously, he had been a full-time lecturer at Harbin Engineering University(HEU), China and postdoctoral fellow at Kyung Hee University, Korea in 2004 and 2009 respectively. Currently he belongs to several research projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities.

Muhammad Fahim earned his Ph.D. from Department of Computer Engineering, Kyung Hee University, South Korea, in 2014, got Master’s degree in Computer Science, specialized in Machine Learning from National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Pakistan, in 2009, and obtained Undergraduate degree in Computer Science with distinction “Gold-medalist” from Gomal University, Pakistan, in 2007. He worked as Post-Doctoral research scientist at Ubiquitous Computing Lab, Kyung Hee University, South Korea. He also served as an Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Engineering at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, Istanbul, Turkey and led machine learning research lab for three years. He also worked with Smart Environment Research Group (SERG), University of Ulster, UK and Tecnalia Research and Innovations, Health division, San Sabastian, Spain.

Dr. Adil Khan is an assistant professor at the Department of Computer Science at Innopolis University. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Kyung Hee University, South Korea, in February 2011. After that, Dr. Khan joined the School of Information and Computer Engineering at Ajou University, South Korea, as an assistant professor, where he taught at both graduate and undergraduate schools. Furthermore, he served as a co-leader at the Knowledge Intensive Software Engineering, and Ubilife research labs at Ajou University. His research work comprising over 35 articles was presented at various international conferences and published in journals with high impact factors. He is also a reviewer of various international journals as IEEE, ACM, Elsevier etc. His primary research interests include machine learning, context-aware computing, wearable computing, image processing, and data mining.
